Cambodia - Angkor

The city of Angkor served as the royal center and capital city of the Khmer Empire, one of the largest, most prosperous, and most sophisticated kingdoms in the history of Southeast Asia. The empire flourished between the 9th until the 15th century and, during that period, numerous construction projects were undertaken around the city. These photos were taken throughout the year of 2022, while I was living in Siem Reap, a city located in northwest of Cambodia, which is the primary access point for the Angkor Archaeological Park.
