Phong Nhá | Vietnam

Phong Nhà is located in Quảng Bình Province, in central Vietnam, and it is home to the Kẻ Bàng National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Although the region is one of the most popular destinations for travelers in Vietnam, Phong Nhà  town is still in the early stages of development with many families still working in rural areas outside the town, which is extremely small. Over the last years, many families started to work with the tourism industry, so many homestays, restaurants and travel agencies are starting to bloom along the area.

Kẻ Bàng National Park

Kẻ Bàng National Park is definitely the pearl of Phong Nhà. It is a protected area covering an area of  1,233 km² of untouched nature. Millions of years of strong flooding in the region helped to create some of the world largest caves, limestone plateaux, tropical forests and underground rivers.  In addition, the site harbours a high level of biodiversity and many endemic species.

Paradise Cave

There are many enormous caves spread around Phong Nhá. Some of them, you need to hire a travel agency to guide you. The Paradise Cave is one of the many caves that are possible to visit inside without a tour agengy. It extends for 31km, though most people only visit the first kilometre.
